Storytime with baby is a wonderful way to bond with your baby and is an easy way to introduce concepts and improve vocabulary. Using sign language when reading with your baby is fun and it is important to keep it relevant to your baby. Choose books that have words that interest your baby so you can model the sign while keeping your babies attention. Choose stories that rhyme like nursery rhymes. Babies love the repeating song and this makes it easier to practice the signs by repeating them A LOT!! Just pick a few words so as not to overload your baby and have fun. Happy Signing!!
